Salad Heaven

I ate ok this past week. I'm still hung up on the eating low carb thing. Should I or shouldn't I? I'm just going to waffle about it for a while.

Being a carb addict, I can see the merits of doing it. Just cutting some bread and other snacks out is a good thing. But I think doing the SBD might be a bit drastic for me right now. I still really totally need FF pringles to keep me from knoshing my fool head off at night.

I have been looking over salad dressings recently, and also been chatting up Steve's Aunt who is doing the Atkins thing. Low fat salad dressing are higher in carbs than regular fat dressings. Much higher, I might add. As in 3 or 4 grams of carbs for a regular and sometimes 7-9 for low fat. That is amazing to me!

But but but...I made a great food discovery. Kraft's "Special Collection" Roasted Red Pepper Italian with Parmesan dressing (new flavor!) is one point for 2 Tbs. of dressing. It is full flavor, regular non- light style. It is EXCELLENT!

I also discovered that spring mix with herbs bagged salad mix is phenomonal due to the addition of the herbs. I loved getting just a hint of fresh dill and cilantro whilst eating my salad. It was truly an orgasmic salad experience.

So I bought a huge head of lettuce, one bag of the spring mix (without herbs since it is a buck more expensive) a bunch of cilantro, and a bag of baby spinach and combined them in a huge ass Tupperware container (Yay Tupperware!) and I plan on munching down on that great concoction for the next week for lunches!
