I was suddenly struck with a craving for something minty to eat. Right now, as I type I can smell my hazlenut coffee gently perking, sending its eye opening sniffs out to tempt me. to want mint. Blargh.
We've been without a computer for a day. (In a day I mean all day yesterday and the night previously.) I can't begin to tell you what a tizzy that puts us all in. It wasn't just lack of internet, as in like we couldn't afford to pay the bill, but the computer completely shit the bed.
Steve eventually got this hunk o junk going again at 9 pm last night after much clunking and swearing. I understand that every single connector and do-hickey got cleaned and re-positioned in an empty tower, which worked after much fiddling and beeping and every single driver being re-installed on the computers' part.
It's a home-grown if you are wondering, so it isn't like we have this nice fancy super-computer. We just upgrade things as we can afford it, and it has been working so far. The last time we went out and bought a computer was in 1994, which was the very first one, which has Power Ranger Morphed into the one that we are currently using.
So Yay Steve.
I'm still working on my thoughts of Roasted Red Pepper dip, and will share later on tonight, so Tom, Sassy, Amanda, you're going to have to sit tight.
